2. Our services
We provide printing and related services, including but not limited to flyers, posters, business cards, banners, roll-up banners, mugs, clothing, stationery, marketing materials, large format printing and custom print products.
Some products may be produced directly by Prime Print, while others may be produced through trusted print production partners or suppliers. We remain responsible for handling your order and customer communication.
3. Quotes and prices
Prices shown on our website, quotes, emails or invoices are subject to confirmation before production.
A quote is valid for [7/14/30] days unless stated otherwise. Prices may change due to artwork requirements, quantity changes, urgent turnaround, delivery address, material availability, supplier pricing or VAT status.
Where applicable, VAT and delivery charges will be shown before payment or on the invoice.
4. Placing an order
An order is accepted only when:
- We have received the required order details.
- We have received payment or agreed written payment terms.
- We have received usable artwork or design instructions.
- You have approved the artwork proof, where a proof is provided.
We may refuse, cancel or pause an order if the artwork is unsuitable, the product is unavailable, payment fails, the order appears fraudulent, or the requested content is unlawful, offensive, misleading, discriminatory, or infringes another party’s rights.
5. Artwork, proofs and approval
You are responsible for checking all artwork, including spelling, grammar, contact details, dates, sizes, layout, colours, image quality, QR codes, bleed, crop marks, fonts and design positioning.
If we send you a proof, production will not begin until you approve it. Once you approve the artwork, you confirm that you are happy for the file to be printed.
After approval, we may not be able to make further changes. If changes are possible, extra charges or delays may apply.
6. Colour, print and finishing tolerance
Printed colours may not exactly match the colours shown on your screen. Screens usually display colours in RGB, while professional printing is usually produced in CMYK or other print processes. Monitor brightness, device settings, paper type, material, coating and print method can affect the final result.
You accept that reasonable print tolerances may occur, including slight colour variation, trimming variation, folding variation, alignment movement, material variation, and finishing differences.
For artwork with borders, frames or very tight margins, we cannot guarantee perfectly even cutting on all sides. We recommend allowing proper bleed and safe margins.
Small text, thin lines, low-resolution images, transparency effects, overprint issues, unembedded fonts and low-contrast colours may affect the final print quality.
7. Customer-supplied artwork
If you provide artwork, you confirm that:
- You own the artwork or have permission to use it.
- The artwork does not infringe copyright, trademarks, design rights or any third-party rights.
- The artwork is lawful and suitable for print.
- The artwork is supplied in the correct size, resolution and format.
We are not responsible for poor print results caused by low-quality, incorrect, incomplete or unsuitable artwork supplied by you.
8. Design services
If we provide design or artwork editing services, the design remains our working file unless otherwise agreed in writing. Final print-ready files may be supplied where included in the order or agreed separately.
Design fees cover the design work described in the quote. Extra revisions, major changes, new concepts, urgent changes or changes after approval may be charged separately.
9. Turnaround times
Turnaround times are estimates unless we confirm a guaranteed deadline in writing.
Turnaround begins only after payment, full order details, usable artwork and artwork approval have been received.
We will try to meet agreed deadlines, but we are not responsible for delays caused by late artwork, late approval, incorrect files, supplier delays, courier delays, technical issues, weather, strikes, stock shortages or events outside our reasonable control.
10. Delivery and collection
Delivery dates are estimated unless specifically guaranteed in writing. We may use third-party couriers. Once an order is handed to a courier, delivery timing may be affected by the courier’s service.
You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery or extra charges caused by incorrect delivery details.
If goods arrive damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photos of the packaging and printed items.
11. Payment
Payment must be made before production unless we have agreed written credit terms.
Orders may be delayed or cancelled if payment is not received. For business customers with agreed credit terms, invoices must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice.
We reserve the right to charge reasonable recovery costs, suspend work, or refuse future orders where payment is overdue.
12. Cancellation
Because most print orders are custom-made or personalised, cancellation may not be possible once artwork has been approved, materials have been ordered, production has started, or printing has been completed.
If you wish to cancel, contact us immediately. If cancellation is possible, we may deduct costs already incurred, including artwork, administration, materials, supplier charges and production costs.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the goods are faulty, not as described, or not produced with reasonable care and skill.
13. Returns and refunds
As most of our products are custom printed, we usually cannot accept returns simply because you changed your mind after the order has been approved or produced.
If there is a problem with your order, contact us at primeprintlondon@gmail.com with:
- Your order number.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Photos or videos showing the issue.
- Photos of the packaging, if delivery damage is involved.
Please report issues as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of receiving the order, so we can investigate quickly. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If we confirm that the goods are faulty, misdescribed, damaged due to our fault, or significantly different from the approved specification, we may offer a reprint, repair, replacement, partial refund or refund, depending on the situation.
14. Customer mistakes
We are not responsible for mistakes approved by the customer, including spelling errors, wrong phone numbers, wrong dates, incorrect sizes, low-resolution images, colour expectations, missing bleed, wrong delivery address, or design errors visible on the approved proof.
If a reprint is required because of a customer mistake, a new charge may apply.
15. Order quantities and over/under supply
For some printed products, small over-runs or under-runs may occur due to production processes. Where this applies, it will usually be within a reasonable trade tolerance.
16. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of artwork and content you provide to us, but you give us permission to use it for the purpose of processing, producing and delivering your order.
Designs, templates, layouts, mockups, website content, product images and artwork created by us remain our intellectual property unless we agree otherwise in writing.
We may display completed work in our portfolio, social media or marketing unless you tell us in writing that the work is confidential.
17. Prohibited content
We may refuse to print material that we believe is unlawful, offensive, abusive, threatening, pornographic, hateful, discriminatory, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property rights.
We may also refuse work that promotes illegal activity or may damage our reputation.
18. Limitation of liability
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, reputational loss, or consequential loss arising from delays, print variation, courier issues, customer artwork errors or supplier issues.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
19. Business customers
If you order on behalf of a business, organisation, charity, company or event, you confirm that you have authority to place the order and approve artwork.
Business orders may be subject to stricter cancellation and refund limits because the goods are custom-produced for commercial use.
20. Website use
You must not misuse our website by attempting to hack it, upload malicious files, interfere with the website, scrape content without permission, or use it for unlawful activity.
We may update, suspend or remove website features at any time.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your order will usually apply to that order.
22. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless another UK jurisdiction applies by law.
